Our facilities are not adequately equipped for wheelchair users. Although there are ramps leading to the toilets and wash basins, a small step at the entrance of the blocks and the absence of direct footpaths make it challenging to navigate across the grass. 

Accessible facilities are available at the Forestry England public car park, approximately 200 meters away, but they are off-site.

Answering this positively can be challenging, as the path is steep initially, then it becomes paved for the remainder of the way into town. Additionally, it's unlit and may get muddy when wet. There are a few alternative routes that are more suitable for biking. It's approximately a 30 to 35-minute walk, depending on one's pace, but the site team can offer the best advice since weather and time of visit are factors. We can assist with taxi numbers and bus schedules, though currently, there is only one bus that stops upon request, which isn't entirely reliable.

Our close location to local supermarkets and the historic town of Marlborough means there is little need for an onsite shop. However, during the summer months, the site Reception offers a limited selection of cold drinks, ice creams, maps, and a service to freeze ice packs for a nominal charge.

Once more, the demand remains low owing to the proximity of local garages and hardware stores that can supply these. The team maintain an up-to-date list of stockists and suppliers, as availability can fluctuate over the year.

Several Marlborough-based restaurants and takeaways offer delivery services to the site, with a variety that includes Italian, Chinese, and Indian cuisine. We frequently receive leaflets from these establishments to exhibit in the Reception area.

The Forest serves as a vast playground, but for those seeking more traditional activities, Coopers Meadow and The Recreation Ground offer play equipment, football pitches, and a skate park, all within less than a mile of each other. For indoor play, Cobbs Playground is available and can be booked due to its popularity.
